The King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2024
On April 24th 2024 Carramore was awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK business, recognising and encouraging outstanding achievement. These awards are the most prestigious awards for UK business, designed to recognise and encourage outstanding achievements in four fields, and are approved by Her Majesty The King based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation.
We were invited to a Windsor Castle reception held on July 9th, and were awarded a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy by the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (the King’s representative in our part of the UK and also the same individual who visited in 2019) at our premises, on 4th October. Our reception included current staff, staff who were present during the period covered by the Award, and key people who have helped and worked with Carramore along our journey.
We are delighted to win this prestigious award which recognises the hard work undertaken to get to this point, and to also thank our staff, customers and vendors without whom this would not be possible.
This award is valid for 5 years.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2019
On April 23rd 2019 Carramore was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2019 in the International Trade category. These awards are the most prestigious awards for UK business, designed to recognise and encourage outstanding achievements in four fields, and are approved by Her Majesty The Queen based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation.
We were invited to a Buckingham Palace reception held on June 11th, and were awarded a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy by the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (the Queen’s representative in our part of the UK) at our premises, on 25th October. Our reception included current staff, staff who were present during the period covered by the Award, and key people who have helped and worked with Carramore along our journey.
