As well as providing a complete solution in ensuring an uninterrupted flow of products & equipment into overseas research laboratories Carramore International can take care of shipping, by air or sea, personal effects originating in the UK.

For someone taking up a new position overseas the shipping of personal effects can be troublesome and expensive. Given our integrated logistics we can provide a competitive offering on a door to door basis from the UK to any country which we currently serve. This offering includes collection at your location, customs clearance at the entry port and onward delivery to your destination.

We require the following:

• evidence that you are entitled to import personal effects at your location
• an inventory list of the items and their value for insurance purposes
• the collection location
• the consignee details
• the buying institute or whether the individual will pay
• an estimate of the volume and/or weight
• sea or airfreight requested (we can quote both)
• a copy of your passport

We will provide:

• a quotation based on your estimate (may be modified once final weight & dimensions established)
• collection of your effects
• safe storage in our warehouse
• packing for sea or airfreight as appropriate
• shipment (by air or sea)
• customs clearance at arrival port/airport
• onward delivery to your final destination
